Mr. Shute: As to the terms of payment, I'd like to suggest you accept D/A.
Mr. Xu: I'msorry, we only accept L/C payment.
Mr. Shute: But as you know, ours is a large order. To pay by L/C, we have to paymuch more money for the bank's charge as well as deposit. That willtie up our money and therefore increases the cost of our imports.
